If someone can enlighten why anyone would need a legitimate reason to SRB, that'd be great. I think it is retarded. Are you worried that someone may pose as you or you'll get hacked???

Some people take a SRB to get a break from Sythe... Wtf? You can always just PM a mod to remove it, so how does it prevent you from just starting back up on Sythe?

I just wanted to discuss it, so maybe someone can elaborate it for me. Back in my more active days years ago, this didn't exist. Thanks

You literally just answered your own question. The only reason someone asks for a SRB is to prevent hacks, impostors, or to keep themselves away from Sythe, and yes. All of these reasons are stupid and ineffective.

it is not an effective measure. I have seen people FORGE PM's on Sythe. If you want to secure your account dont SRB, just do two-step or create a good password not associated with any other account elsewhere.

Yeah but the problem with that, is the fact that all they have to do is go on here and contact a member of upper staff to just get unbanned, So it's not that preventable.

In my opinion, if someone asks for a SRB they should be SRB'd for a MINIMUM period.
