Vouching for Graphics

I never really understood why people aren't allowed to vouch for graphics. I mean we put a lot of work into them, and after all they are virtual items just like RSGP which you are allowed to vouch for.
Personally I have handled over $700 in wealth doing graphics and ALL of my customers since day one have gone first. This makes it hard to sell something in any of the other forum sections because you are just stuck with "recommendations" and not vouches.
I'm not trying to start any type of debate, just an artist looking for an answer.

 

Support, this'd get us some valid vouch count, however, there've been a ton of suggestions like these before and it never actually got approved.. So I doubt this one will actually get approved.

 

Nobody's really been able to say why - Bring it up in the suggestions forum and FireZ will lock it.

No one ever gave an explanation though. I say that if you can' get vouches for graphics then you can't get a vouch for programming. It is essentially the same thing.

 

The only problem I see with it is the quality of work people will start producing to obtain vouches. Spend 30 seconds and charge 50k, get a vouch, rinse and repeat, and say you have 50 vouches.

The complication comes in choosing whose gfx work can be classified as "vouch-worthy," and that would require "verified" gfx artists and subsections to the forums.

But yea if that problem can be solved then of course I support it.

 

Ive seen people sell RSGP 1m at a time and get vouched for it. Its pretty sad actually that they can find a some kind of loophole around the whole vouches thing,

 

Yeah originally you could vouch for graphics I believe but then people started doing very basic graphics that would take a minute or so, and get vouched for it. It was pretty much unnecessary trust. I think verified gfx artists could be a good idea, but even then they could simply put out some junk every now and then if they are bored for a vouch.

Personally I don't see this ever getting allowed, unfortunately.

 

Hmm, guess so. Never really looked at it from that perspective.
