Can I still get banned if I watch my bot?

I am too lazy to click I will just buy a bot and watch it run. Can I still get banned even though I reply to everyone who talks?

No. These legit players don't do the exact same thing. They pause and go to GE, Farm runs. They don't stay in the exact location for months on end. It is almost impossible for a human to spend months just to get 99fishing without moving from the fishing location.

 

well no one knows too sure how exactly bans work out but this is my belief.

You get banned in one of two ways:

1)People think you bot, report you
2)2+ reports = more randoms
3) fail a random, flag goes up
4)jagex randomly checks flagged accounts for BCEL (Client editing)
5) if positive = ban

or the second way:

1)jagex logs playtime
2)sees its abnormally high
3)Runs BCEL check
4)if positive = ban


but thats just my belief, no one knows for sure.

 

The simple answer is yes. You'll probably have a much less chance of getting banned if you do this

 

Well my main concern is if Jagex is able to some how detect the program I am using by the mouse movements or whatever. I won't have it run 24/7. Maybe just 5 or 6 hours a day.

But I see you say Jagex runs a BCEL check, so it is possible for them to find out if you're botting or not....

 

If your running 5/6 hours a day and your babysitting. I highly doubt you will get banned.

 

I've botted tons of things on my main and not really afraid. as long as its nothing like hunter or sorc garden or anything you should be fine.

 

if you're gonna bot might as well bot the shit out of it. I've heard there's no difference between 24/7 botting and 8 hours a day botting. I've botted both ways and no perm bans yet just two minors.

 

Technically the bot is still playing for you. The rules state that you can not use a program to play the game for you, even if your watching, its still botting. However if you chat with people and complete the randoms that you get, you will have an extremely low chance of getting caught.

I botted to 70 thieving, crafting, smithing, 99 cooking, 94 dungeoneering, 87 fletching, 99 magic, 94 dungeoneering. I don't think I ever trained a skill legit. lol

without reports jagex has no idea your botting, if you're babysitting it, you're not likely to get banned. I've 100% botted an account to 2243 total level, and not one ban on it yet.

You can, but highly unlikely.

 

You don't get banned for not talking on bots.
You get banned for the continuously doing the SAME thing over and over.
Same movements, same clicks, same everything.

You need to get a legit, and well-known bot to reduce risk of ban/roll back.

Yes. Eg. many people have been banned for babysitting their frost dragon bots.
