Just a Suggestion, but I think Maybe once you Register a sythe account you should have to wait maybe *1 week* Befor Posting In Black Market, I think this will help reduce scammers.

 

How does this reduce scammers? There have been people here that were once thought of as trusted that have scammed over RuneScape many a times.

I'm going to have to not give me support here. However, if it happens, all the markets would have to be blocked out (the WoW, Aion, Xbox, etc.) because scamming occurs in all the black markets, regardless.

You should elaborate on your idea if you hope to gain support for it, that's just my two cents, take it or leave it.

Suggestion:

It would be a major inconvenience, potentially stopping new users from coming back. Also, the only scammer it would stop would be the self-voucher, and even still, if they're desperate it's not hard to wait 1 week.

 

I don't think this would reduce scamming that much, 1 week ain't very long.

This idea sounds like it has potential, although I think more extreme methods should be put in place. I think if you had to wait a week to get approved for posting, have 200+ posts AND donate at least $2 to sythe before Blackmarket became open, this would reduce scamming by a hell of a lot.

 

I believe I can sum this idea up with 1 simple word...No.
This next bit is directed towards the thread starter and JDK.
1 week is nothing, even if you make people wait a year they will still scam when they eventually get on. And what really is the point in having a post count requirement to enter blackmarkets, or donate $2. If I really wanted I could spam 200 posts in a day, and as for $2 isn't that a fairly small loss considering the potential to scam aot more than that is there?

 

1) Getting away with spamming 200 posts is harder than you think.
2) No, $2 is not a lot but going through all this trouble would stop a lot of people as people usually get banned before they even pull off a scam. Imagine how annoying it would be for scammers to have to do all this, pay $2 and then get banned for an attempted scam?

 

Obviously nobody would spam 200 posts in a day, but over a week or 2 they could do that easily. By requiring a $2 donation it can stop people who are legit traders who just don't wanna donate from using he market,and it may wipe out the retards who attemp to scam, but will just leave the more intelligent scammers for us to deal with, technically making it more dangerous to trade.

 

How on earth will it make it more dangerous to trade? You're saying that this will wipe out a majority of scammers, yet also stating that it'll just make it more dangerous. That makes no sense as if supposably the more intelligent scammers are left they would be there anyway regardless of implementing these methods or not.

 

Yes Purple, Daily, Mr.Pencil, Inventor... just some of the trusted people banned in recent times, I think a scammer could wait a week, I mean wouldn't you if you thought you could get a free $200 or so?

So no, don't support, will do nothing.

 

Implementing this would leave just the more intelligent scammers, therefore meaning when somebody does a trade they have more chance of being scammed since theres none of those retards who you can easily guess are scamming

 

1. Daily is not a scammer
2. He hasn't been banned.

And it's not going to happen, it will make users looking to quickly sell their account/pin/gp or whatever leave and go to another site because they don't want to have to wait a week before they can look for a seller. This means it will cut into sythe's traffic, and sythe likes traffic.

 

I do not support,tbh leechers aren't the ones who scam they are teh ones who get scammed.

 

I don't Support, scammers will just wait one week and start scamming than.
and they are able to get high postcount so they look a little more atractive for proper sellers, so no support.
