Deviantart must have shrank it, it WAS 1024x768/wallpaper sized


I still like how this had turned out, decided to share it.

 

It's beautiful. The color and landshape reminds me of Halo Reach for some reason. I wish I had the talent that these artists do... I have some good art talent with a pencil in my hand though. Wish it was with computer graphics as well.

Don't really like the thing on the right just before the darkness but the island is awesome.

 

Doesn't pixel art mean it's done in paint or sothing. If so then damn thats amazing

 

If this truly was created in Paint, then it's amazing haha.

Although even if it weren't, it still looks great.

i dont really like the thing one the right side .... alll black and dark ..... could be dark and mysterious but i just dont liek it allll black lol

Well yes, for the to be truly 100% pixelart, I would have had to have done the smudge in the background by hand with pixels, one shade at a time. SOO I guess it's cheater's pixel art c: So it's about 97% simple round brush and 3% smudging for the background
Pixel art doesn't have to be paint, it just had to be done with only a simple brush. It could be the round brush in photoshop as much as those in paint. Neither does it have to be unblended looking as per what you think of when someone says "pixels". If you're talented enough, you can make hyper-realistic art with nothing but simple brushes

 

Great blending of colours a bit TOO dark for my liking but generally 9/10. Great Job.
