Player Auctions

Ive seen alot of mentions about player auctions, mainly in gold exchange. How does player auctions work, I heard it's meant to be safer? Whats the pro's/con's of using it?

Seller puts x for sale.
Buyer purchases the item and the payment goes to playerauctions not the seller.
Seller delivers the goods and takes proof of delivery.
Buyer confirms delivery
Playerauctions dispatches the money directly from their paypal account to the sellers so the seller is at no risk of charge-back.
The system works very well in most cases.
Only con is playerauctions takes a cut, I think it's 10% of the sale.

Yeah, it says on the site. Player puts item up for sale, buyer pays for it, player auctions secures payment, player gives item to buyer, player auctions then gives money to player

 

I will never use Player Auctions anymore. Half of my transactions are denied or take 24 hours or more to verify. It gets stressful having to keep track of 10 verifying orders at once.

It's probably one of the safest ways to use PayPal, but if you are looking to get your money or just looking for a fast trade in general, you won't enjoy PA too much.

-The Gold seller put's an advertising up for sale.

-Buyer, "clicks" Buy.

-The payment goes through PA's secure sever.

-Once it's verified, the Seller has up to 30 minutes to deliver the Gold. (This is great on the Buyer's part).

-As the seller is delivering the gold, it is essential to take very good pictures of you actually delivering it. As the buyer could claim he had never gotten the gold. This causes all kinds of problems for you both.

-If he is a legit buyer, he will verify he received the gold. You will then receive your payment I believe in a few days.


So once again, the site is pretty secure. It is great for the buyer, as they receive their gold quickly. If you are selling, however, it will take some time.
Not a big fan of the site myself.

 

Actually, it's a dream for sellers because you never have to deal with crappy PP issues like chargebacks. I had so many people freak out and say I was scamming because PA didn't process their order on time for their agenda.

 

depends if ur a seller or buyer, if your a buyer u get wht u buy guarantee, seller they charge fees
