Beginner's Guide To Throwing Playing Cards.

Hey, it's drewskyd and this is my 4th guide, it will be a guide on beginner's card throwing. Hope you learn from it.

    Grip

Ok, so there are many different grips that you can use for throwing playing cards, here is how I grip mine:
All you do for this grip is, put your index and middle finger on both sides of the card at the top and hold it with your other fingers back and your thumb on top of the index finger.

Here is another grip that a famous card thrower, ricky jay, uses:
For this grip you put or index finger on the northeast edge of the card with you middle finger and thumb gripping the card.

You can use either of these grips or any variations that you can use better. Just a tip, experiment with grips to find the best one to use for card throwing.

    Arm Motion

Arm motion in card throwing is very important it effects how far, how fast, how low, how high, and where it goes. Here is a quick video of the correct arm motion, it is at a weird angle so bear with it ;)

Basically, what your are doing is moving just your arm forward and flicking your wrist and releasing. Just practice this arm motion and then try throwing some cards, you will probably not do well at first, but keep trying and if you are trying to do it right, then you will eventually get it. You can keep throwing them and trying to throw them faster by either speeding up your motion or trying new grips and fixing your arm motion.

Hope you enjoyed and learned from my guide. Thanks for reading!

Overall, 7.5/10. Good effort, nice detail. Keep up the hard work.

You can probably do this with bank cards etc. I am guessing... If you put razors into the sides of them and used this technique you could kill a person...

    Very nice guide :)

Good guide, you may want to throw in something about not using expensive
Playing cards, just buy a couple decks at the dollar
    tree or something.

I can throw cards, me and my friends have card fights. I can cut the shit out of them with a deck of cards. Pretty sure I can cut fruit, haven't tried. But yeah this was a good guide for starters.
