I bought an account off RuneMob (RATgold at the time), in April 2017, and 2 days ago the account was locked (after it had NEVER been locked after 2 year of ME playing it), and when I went to recover it myself, my attempts were unsuccessful and I was instantly denied. The email associated with the recover was the same email as the login email, which Rob said he gave to me (never did).

When I messaged him asking for the account to be unlocked and to give me access back, he actually showed some sense of urgency and tried to help me out, but as of late, he's gone rogue.

I suspect he recovered the account (i can't find the thread but he it was a zerker he was selling around April/March of 2017) because of the email thing, and how the login email and recovery email (while the account was locked) were exactly the same.

I trained the account so much from when it was just a zerker to around 2200 total (listed above), had a lot on it.

the account is also unlocked now, with a 2FA on it, can show a gyazo with the same login name as the recovery on the email, don't want to show the world its login

Okay, I've been doing the best research possible. Since this was back in 2017, when I had my old MacBook, neither I or Lar can access the earliest messages. I wanted to see if I provided recoveries or not, but It's mission impossible. Here's what I know though:

In a chronological order...
1) I sold the account to Lar back in 2017 for 400 something USD (according to him).
2) He sold it back to me for 200 something USD.
3) I sold the account to an Estonian guy from Vahvel (an Estonian RS forum)
4) The Estonian sold it back to me
5) My brother played on the account for some time (irrelevant, but Lar knows about it)
6) Lar randomly wanted to buy the account back so I sold it back to him for 280$ (I think?)
7) 2 years later the account is randomly locked and now the details are changed. For some reason the original e-mail address is inaccessible for me as well. The worst part is that I had all the passwords etc written down in my old computer, but since I bought a new one recently and sold my old one, can't really get the information back.

The worst part is that when I put the keyword "username of the RS account" in my Skype search menu for messages, it gives 0 results (all messages were saved on my old computer though as the Skype RATGold was my first ever and I used it 2 years ago). I want to see which information was provided to Lar when the account was first sold to him, because I'm uncertain whether I gave him the recoveries + the e-mail or not. Lars also shares the account with someone by the Discord name of "Bikers" (Bikers#7777) and that's the main reason why old information is important to me as there have multiple owners and potentially multiple people know too much information.

I'm still trying to do my best to figure out what happened/is happening.

A staff member can verify that my Skype messages show 0 results from the RSN's keyword, even for Lar himself (No idea why). I don't want to post the screenshot as Lar doesn't want the world to see the RSN or the login e-mail.

 

Ghost him? I tried finding out that was going on with the account. I couldn't message all of this straight away as I was entering the military reserve force of Estonia meaning I was getting out of military (a lot was going on). I was trying to give Lar adequate information. It's better to stay silent and give him proper information at a later time rather than some crap ASAP. The original e-mail is on the account right now, yes, I already saw that. Like I said on Skype/Discord, I can't access the original e-mail as it has been recovered with the account. What I'm trying to find out is the information I gave Lar 2 years ago when I first sold him the account. It won't let me scroll up that much. I want to see whether I gave him recoveries and/or access to original e-mail as well. I've sold so many accounts in my whole RS business "career" and I must say that if an account has had multiple owners who potentially have too much information regarding the account then there's a chance It'll be recovered. Since all of this is very old for me, It won't be as quick as 123 to find out what happened/is going on, because It's super difficult to access old Skype messages and old information in general.

I also have a request for Bikers to change his attitude, because the spam and sh*t he gives me on Discord is more than annoying and super offensive. I'm literally doing my best to get this sorted ASAP and to properly assist Lar as we've done some business in the past and I care for my clients.

I'm still trying to recover the account + the original e-mail address. If I see, somehow, that Lar didn't get the recoveries, nor the original e-mail from me via Skype when I first sold him the account, then I think It's best if I refund him the money he paid for the account. Since Lar and Bikers shared that account, then Bikers could've also owned information that could lead to an account recovery. Right now I and Lar are stuck with the information we have as we can't access any other information that goes beyond 20th April, 2017. Another problem, as I mentioned earlier, is that I can't access any information regarding the account's username via Skype messages search menu (example is below) to find out any other information that comes with the account. I've sold multiple accounts meaning that I don't remember everything regarding each account I've ever sold.

I'd also like to know why Lar didn't mention he shared the account with someone else (Bikers) when he first sold the account back to me. Made it super risky for me to even use the account later on.

 

Your opinions are extremely subjective. Send me proof that there was 4bil on the account as I could also claim I had 100bil on an account that I potentially won't get back. It's funny how I told you that It'll be hard for me to recover as I can't access old information and straight away you told me you had 4bil on the account. I asked for proof, you couldn't provide any. My words against yours.

Since I now have a new computer, then accessing information that is 2 years old is nearly impossible for me. I tried finding the recovery details that were potentially given to Lar via Skype, but it doesn't let me scroll all the way up, even on my old iPhone 6 that I had at the time. I haven't even logged on to the e-mail for 2 years or so and for some reason I'm not able to log in with any of the passwords that are in my memory. I'm pretty sure that when I first sold the account to Lar in 2017, I also provided recoveries + the original e-mail's details. We (Lar and I) sadly can't scroll to check.

When Lar sold the account back to me, there was another owner that played for a couple weeks before re-selling (remember by memory) it back to me. Then it was sold to Lar for the second time. All of this has its effects on the account's security in a long perspective. Once again, this was back in 2017 and after 2-2.5 years It's truly hard for me to do anything if Skype keeps bugging like it does right now. I'll still keep on trying to recover the account with what I have in memory. I also wrote mail.ee, the VERY primitive Estonian e-mail provider for the original e-mail of the RS account, a letter to perhaps help me get back the original e-mail account.

EDIT: When I sold accounts back in 2017-beginning of 2018, I tended to provide recoveries + original e-mails with the purchase. That's something I don't do anymore, because it can cause a huge mess. When I sell accounts now, I don't even set an e-mail as I think that's the best and safest option in general.

 

We've now established that the account was locked due to OP typing the incorrect auth over and over again. Runemob has requested data from skype in order to send in a better appeal, so we'll be waiting on that

As OO of the account, you will still have to send in a recovery attempt/are responsible for unlocking this account. I've sent you some old images of the stats/info of the account from your thread which may help. Please respond here with the outcome of the recovery appeal
