    Supercross | Quads | Dirtbikes

Use this thread to talk about your first dirtbike/quad. How you got into riding. Talk about Supercross Events. Just about anything that has to do with motors!

Where to start off. I have been riding for 12 years now. I watch every Supercross event. I have a couple of rising stars in my town.

    Previous Bikes

    - 2002 TRX250
    - 2005 YZ125
    - 2006 LTR450

    Current Bikes

    - 2011 KLX110
    - 2001 KX125

I started out on the 250 quad. I got bored of it really fast so I figured I would give dirtbikes a try. I always rode my friends little bikes so I went right to a big bike.

The YZ125 phase was awesome. The 2 stroke power was completely different from a 4stroke , being my first time ever riding a 2stoke. It blew up after about 8months of riding it. This is where I began to take a liking for dirt bikes and am in the Profession I am today. I took it upon myself to replace the piston and rings. It was a fun project and didn't take to long since 2 stroke are MUCH easier to rebuild. Sold the bike after the fresh rebuild had about 15hrs on it.

Well dirtbikes were fun during the summer , but they sat all winter. Which is where I missed my quad. It hit me that I needed to have fun year round on motorcycles so I bought a LTR 450. This is by far the meanest bike I have ever road.

    LTR 450 Mods

    - Cherry Bomb
    - MAxxis razr 18's
    - Pro Armor Nerf bars
    - Renthal bars
    - ASV levers
    - Full skids

I loved this bike because it had soooo much power and it ripped around no problem. Had to sell it though because I need $$ for a car.

After I sold the LTR I got into pitbikes , they were cheap (for I was buying a car at the time) and fun projects , also pitbikes were where I learned how to re-build 4stroke motors. I started with an off brand pitbike for 400$ , sold it for 900$. Then with some extra cash went to a dealership and bought a klx110 as a leftover for a steal.

I still have my pitbikes but recently bought a 2001 KX125 as a project bike and as a mess around. I bought it cheap , am currently fixing it up , and hopefully will sell it to get somthing bigger and better.

Here is my youtube channel with vids of all the bikes I just talked about

I had a 50cc Quad when I was like 13 haha so much fun I use to drive it around a shooting range where they shot clay pidgeons, obvious when it was closed. It was a private range too and my friends uncle owned it so much fun had a huge woods and loads of bumps and little jumps. Man I miss those days I sold it when I got to big for it and never bought another one.
