So last night my girlfriend and I had sex for the first time, and well I came, pretty quick. Like not very long after I went in. (I had a condom on so..)

Either way, I asked her about it later and she said it was normal. Well is it? I have no idea.

I didn't want to leave her hanging so I kept going for a but but either way, is that normal?

Yeah you have nothing to worry about. It's normal for most boys to get off really fast their first time. I'm sure she understands this. You have nothing to fear. Anyone who claims to have lasted hours upon hours their first time is lying. The more you have sex the longer you'll last. It started out the same way for me.
