Range Tank

93 combat:

Attack:61
Strength:78
Defence: 70
Range: 97
Prayer: 52
Mage: 91
Constitution: 88


I'd like suggestions on what to do, aside from 99 range and 94 mage. My main concern is what to do with defence.

p.s. I would appreciate hearing from real tanks/rangers because they have the experience. But, if you're a zerker/pure and have fought different tanks please leave comments.

 

Pking at lv 104s etc with tanks is mostly boring, and the turmoil zerks will be a pain cause your def will be easy to hit for them. ( thats if you get 99)

So i'd suggest keep at 70. Alot of people would suggest 75 but the obby shield gives a hefty damage absorption that is really usefu, whereas DFS has nothing.

i have a pure pure, that pretty much hits tanks like cheese.

thanks for the feedback. 70 defence is where i'll stay for now. how about getting rigour?

 

I suggest raise range and then use the dueling arena to find what you want to do.

 

I have a lvl 92 with exactly the same stats as you except hp
Leave defense at 70 it owns and keeps your lvl down a bit to avoid fitting the turmoil guys
