Java Error 1606

Every time I try to update my Java, it says "Error 1606. Could not access network location.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I've been trying to find a solution to this problem for months now, and nothing has been working. It really slows down gameplay on Runescape.

 

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling?

If you have, then try downloading the installer, disconnecting from the Internet, and then try to install.

 

Yeah mate I have, but even when I try to uninstall, it gives me the same error. I'm willing to pay 4m to anyone who helps me do this.

Well you're using microsoft windows, lol.

Try to uninstall it with revo uninstaller pro and then install it again from java.com?

 

Can't uninstall it lmao, anything that is uninstalled/updated would be exterminated due to the error.

 

Revo uninstaller pro or Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will force uninstall it.

 

Is there any way I can contact Java personnel?

You may just be better off reinstalling your OS if it still can't be removed and has been going on for all this time.
