Explanation of the trade: The Trade was 2b RS3 gold and a maxed account with a few 200m's for a comped Rs3 account

How they scammed: Paid him the 2B and he logged out and said he went to the hospital. He then blocked me, he messaged me 2 days later saying he would be stupid to sell it for so cheap and siad hed give money back or i could double my offer and hed give me the account. I asked for money back and he laughed and again blocked me.

Banned for 3 months + permanently DNT'd (market-banned). He'll have to refund you / pardon if he wishes to return to Sythe again. I'm sorry for your loss @Anthony Sullivan. In the future I highly recommend not buying accounts from newcomers because even with a middleman (which wasn't used here, but noting for future reference) the account can still be recovered by the original owner at any given moment. You should give these threads (mentioned below) a read to ensure that you never (or are at least highly unlikely to) run into situations like this in the future.
