Why should I be User Educator?

Because, I take care of what I do, and take responsibility for my full actions, I've also been many different things. I can educate Newbies to what they're thinking to what they're seeing and I might be a bit annoying if you annoy me sometimes, if you accept me as User educator, I promise I'll do my job properly.

How to Make Free Forums!

Step one) Think about it, and discuss to yourself, what do you need the Forum for, and what will be the use for it, you don't want a Forum for nothing, or to boss people around, if you're going to make a Forum, and don't want phpbb, you can always use Invasion Power Board at a cost, but there's always a free one at www.ipbfree.com, but it's hard to get up, so it's best to get a friend to help you out on that, with the permissions, etc.

2) If you decided to get phpbb you can now Type in 'www.simpleboard.net' in your Address Bar, to make a start off to make your brand new forum, this'll be the only page you'll need, you can also use the help link on that page, if you're having troubles with your Forums, or you can contact me anytime, if you need any help with your new forum.



3) There will be a little picture on the right hand side of the page saying 'Create a Free Forum', you may click on that, to start off your new Forums, here you get to choose your subdomain and your styles for your forums, so you should becareful what you pick, you can't change your subdomain or domain name again, unless you delete your first forum and start over again, we don't want you to waste time, so please pick carefully.



4) Think about what Style you want your Forum, and think about what your topic of the Forum is about, that'll be the best colour, we don't want a dull looking colour for your from it's firstly not good for your reputation and secondly, your Forums won't be attactive, we want as much colour as possiable, so it'll attact many users to your Forums.



5) Fill out the required boxes, you must fill out all the boxes, pick your type of of Forum, like roleplaying games, etc, (this'll help advertise your Forum, many users might type in your keywords and find your forum, thus attacting them to it). So pick keywords that'll be reality to the topic, in reality I mean, real, there would be no point in putting 'Jagex' as a Keyword and your Forum is about Harry Potter books or something, that'll be completely, useless and pathetic in my opinion, so just don't do it.



6) Go and Administrator your new Forums, and make any needed changes, you may Administrate your Forum and add new Forums too it, and buy a Domain name for 25 dollars a year, this'll help your Forums many people find subdomains rather long, and unattactive. I've also made a tutorial below how to get a free Domain name, so look out for that guide.



7) Start recruiting members for your new forum. How else will you get Members? Try and recruit, in Forum Signature, or MSN Titles, they'll recruit many users if you do that, trust me, it works everyime. Never, ever, advertise your new Forums on a different website, it makes your Forum, unpopular and more need of members, we want to hide that, second, it's counted as spam, we don't want any enemies!

How to upload files via Imageshack.us.

1) First, type in 'www.servimg.com' in your Address Bar, and make sure it's, imageshack.us not imageshack.com, they're both different things, imageshack is the best in my opinion, because it's a fast, free service to upload your pictures or videos, (I'm not sure if you can upload videos yet, but I think I saw it somewhere around there, I better go and double check).



2) Make an account if you haven't already had. Making an account would help you get the link again and again, incase you loose the link using a free version (if you have an account or not, they're both free, however, having an account will help you manage your files more well).
3) Browse and Upload your file if you want to upload a file from your computer, go find it, or you can use a image from a URL (I seriously don't see the point in this, why would you want an URL for an URL that already is an URL, confuses me too).



4) Then, copy and paste the link from the picture and then you can use it on Forums of all kinds, such as Sythe etc.

How to scan files without Norton Anti-Virus!

1) If you're unsure about a program, never open it, it'll probably just cause unneeded harm to your computer, internet, and your RuneScape account, it's better being safe then sorry.
2) Next, type 'www.kasperky.com/scanforvirus', this is the link to the online virus scanning system.



3) Browse what file you're after, so the online scanner knows what you're looking for, or you can do a free online, full computer virus scan.



4) To be 100 percent sure, do a full computer scan.

How to get Piczo space.

1) Type 'www.piczo.com' in your Address Bar, have you ever used myspace or bebo, this is a bit like that, but different, it has it's advantages and disadvantages, but I'd rather not talk about that, now.



2) Register and make an account, and choose your URL (with subdomain.piczo)



3) Fill out the required boxes, don't use fake information, you'll probably need your password one day.



4) Choose your Style of your Site
5) Fix anything up in the Administration.

How to get a Free Domain

1) First, type in 'www.freedomain.co.nr' in your Address Bar, be sure it's co.nr, not .com, they're two different things.



2) Register a new account so you can get a domain of course.



3) Pick the domain you want
4) Fill out the forms



5) You're done!

How to bypass Security Restricted Sites.

1) Right click Internet Explorer and click 'properties'.



2) From the top part click on Tools.
3) Select Internet Options from the list.
4) Click on the Security Tab.
5) Click on 'Restricted Sites'.



6) Find the site that you want unblocked.
7) Click the site and click Remove or Add.

How to change your IP Address.

1) Unplug your Modem for an hour
2) Turn off your computer for an hour



3) If you're using a Static IP Contact your ISP
4) Turn your computer back on



5) Turn your Modem back on, and your IP Address has changed.
6) Make sure you follow these steps currectly!

If you've completely read through my guides, please comment back on them, it'll be very helpful to my stressful situation, and possiably calm me down, if you don't think they're good, please keep your flaming to yourself and don't stress me (much), if I get accepted, I'll be forever greatful. Yeah, sure, this is my first post, but it's also a good idea to use a different forum. Quite nice, although for seven tutorials it seems a little short. But 5 guides is enough so I think that can be excused.

It's ok but perhaps too much images and not enough text. Although many people say it's the other way round, this is different.

I'd say you need more text, make it a little bigger.

Aha, that is a point. You may want to be a little more active. This is your first day I'm guessing, if I were you I'd get your post count up a bit.

After a week of posting, staying active and enhancing your current application, you'd stand a good chance.

 

Post Count means nothing, reputation is all. I do confirm that your guides are not ripped, to my knowledge, however, they do lack quite a bit. They are very general, and that is why I said post your two other guides, because you will need them. An application is only as good as it's worst guide .

 

But you can't have any reputation if you have no post count.

And yes, the two other guides would boost your chance.

They're all simple to help everyone to understand my guides, so thanks for the positive feedback, guys! Anyway, I can't make good guides, for example PhotoShop Guides, for a couple of reasons:

1) I'm not skilled in PhotoShop
2) It'll be too late now
3) I hope it gets accepted, lol.

I'm thinking anyone with half a brain can figure out how to sign up for free forum hosting.
And also because freedomain.co.nr does not offer DNS I wouldn't recommend it.

 

freedomain.co.nr supplies free domains, not hosting, and if they had half a brain, they would be missing the other half to type, so, no more bad comments about my application?

 

First of all I never said anything about freedomain.co.nr not offering free hosting all I said was it does not offer DNS so I don't recommend it.

Second of all I meant to say free forum hosting.
