    Looking to upgrade memory

But i have run into some problems.

I have ddr2 memory, which is not the problem. When i went to look at the sticks (looking to get 2, 2gb sticks since my computer can handle 4gb all together) and i saw this :

    # Cas Latency: 5
    # Voltage: 1.8V
    # Heat Spreader: No
    # Features: Auto and self refresh capability RoHS Compliant

    What does all this mean?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227364 this is the one i was thinking of getting.

    # Cas Latency: 5
The ratio between column access time and clock cycle time. so 5 isn't very good. something like 2-3 is better.
    # Voltage: 1.8V
    power
    # Heat Spreader: No
Your memory card will get hot without them. Heat spreaders are used to dissipate heat.
    # Features: Auto and self refresh capability RoHS Compliant
RoHS Compliant means the product complied with some sort of rigorous environmental hazards i.e. no dangerous materials are in it. Auto and self refresh should be self explanatory

look at the reviews, that should be the most accurate since those people bought that product.

Don't give advice if you have no idea what its about.

TJ: that set is alright, it could be a lot cheaper. Look around for better prices.
