Infraction for Accusing someone of scamming without proof.

First of all - I was not accusing anyone of anything.

1. That guy's temp. banned now...

2. I said failed scammer. I hadn't said that he had scammed me.

3. The post was edited - my first post was my MSN and that I'd sell him 4 mints. I only edited my post to verify that I was no longer going to sell him mints.

If I wanted to accuse him of scamming I would have posted in the "Report a Scammer" section, with proof that he did in fact scam me, which he DID NOT.

If you have sufficient proof that he tried to scam you, then go ahead and post it, if not it's still accusing someone of scamming without proof.

 

You cannot just go on the basis that other people posted scammer reports after you accused him, and before he was temp banned.

I suppose that is true.

My post:

I hadn't said, 'This person has scammed me/attempted to scam me.'

I had basically called him a name, 'scammer'. It's almost as if I was calling someone an idiot, or calling them stupid, taken in context. If you look at his other posts in that thread, he even said that he would only use an OMM or somebody else would go first.

That's one of his posts ^^. This doesn't count as "attempt to scam", but I merely want to show you that what I had said in my post was true, he would only use OMM if the seller paid the fees, and he wouldn't go first to anyone. There are also other posts on that same thread of "suspicious" behavior. These posts are :

^^ Has no proof of scam.

By the way, I found he was temp. banned for phishing? -.-, I've gotten infracted by someone who has gotten temp. banned. Ironic? (that shouldn't affect this post at all, though)

So, the owner of this thread is temp. banned because of phishing, has been claimed as a scammer [with no proof, although], and is "waiting for a call from WU" to send payment that was for a trade using an OMM.
Again, I'm not calling this guy a scammer, neither am I stating that he has scammed me.

I understand though, if my infraction cannot be reversed. Thanks for reading anyway.
