Jail time?

If the popo's came and busted all of us for breaking the law how long do you think you would go to jail for. Me, I think It would be atleast 10+ considering I get free pins and sell them. I've gotten 1,000$ + worth of money off them. So I think it would be a while.

It depends on how your getting them, your age, where you live, etc.

I doubt you'll be doint 10 years for it though and my guess is you're a 12 year old punk who uses his friends phone to rack up charges. You'll get caught, be told to stop, and be punished by you're parents.

Long story short, you fail

I wouldn't get sent to jail at all. Scamming or reselling game accounts/gold DOES NOT mean jail time unless real $s are being scammed/lost. And even than it depends on how much the cops care. I wouldn't get anything cuz i've never done anything stupid on here. Yet if they scanned my PC and find all the movies/games i've dl'ed =S thats a different story.
 
dude, wtf lol? that question doesnt even make sense... i went onto this thinking it was a thread about "say somebody did ------, how much jail time do u think they would get?" but wow dude, nobody really does anything illegal on this site.

u'd be suprised. ive seen people try to sell credit cards , etc.
 
You wouldn't go to jail. Do you know what it means to prove something "beyond a reasonable doubt"? That's what they have to do.

I think he meant, If they law could prove every single crime you have committed how many years would you get in prison?

I would get less then 2 years probably. Simple assault charges that were really minor.
 
As Dorito stated, selling/buying pins is legal. The police don't care about little Jagex's rules.


Phishing, fraud, yes you could get jail time. It varies country by country

I believe that if you do that in Sweeden you get your ass handed to you,
Argentina however, a warning if anything.
