JaGeX slowly making RuneScape easier.

JaGeX knows they've made RuneScape too long and tedious. The age range of people that play is like 12-18 generally, and most of these people either don't have the attention span to get to high levels, or don't have the time.

Which, let us face it, is why most of us bot. My theory is JaGeX is slowly making RuneScape progressively easier to level up, so they can eventually stop people from botting as much, and make RuneScape more appealing to people. Though at the same time, trying to not make it seem to obvious, as people who got 99's when they were hard to achieve wouldn't feel like they wasted their time doing it the harder way. Look at the Ivy update for woodcutting, the cook all button, LRC, gilded altars, etc...

Most of you have probably realized this already, I just thought I'd point it out.

 

Try playing WoW, that shit is much easier to level up.
But I guess when you have the biggest MMORPG following, you gotta make it fun for people.

 

Its to get more people that are 9 Years old playing just to fuck us Mature players Up... Simple answer...

 

Yeah, i have noticed all these updates.

Especially ivy, which gives crazy fast xp.

 

It's a trend caused by the players themselves, to some extent.

If players didn't complain about how boring or hard a skill was to train, and if people didn't quit before gaining 99's or spending considerable time playing the game due to it's being boring, Jagex would have no reason to make the game easier.

Nonetheless, I don't really mind cuz I just bot anyway... and so I'm not really losing any of my time in the first place.

 

Its not to get more 9 year old's, it's because of all the 9 year old.. they are all whining it takes to long on the forums, and Jagex as developer has to change things for them else they will quit the game, look at wow for example.
All the noobs, and kid where spamming the forums that paladins sucked as dps, what do they do buff paladin. why? because the kids whine.

It's something that will always be there, and you can't get arround it.

 

Thats just how all MMORPG's work, WoW is like that - it's just to keep their money flow running tbh =/.

 

Ya I noticed that a while back. I wonder in a few years how easy it will be.

 

World of Warcraft was really hard to level up before, now it's extremely easy.

 

I hate Chaotic weps, Hand cannons, Elite voids and other Super pking weps. I will die in PvP/Bh do fking fast. Few days ago I pked against Chaotic rapier and it raped me lol. 400+ 400+ 400+ 400+ 400+ and K.O. all hit were over 400 so I didnt had time to eat and died whit 50m. Kinda sad.. those super wepones are ruining PKing and are making faster xp for Slay, Str, Att, Range etc. Rc 1 - 99 is like 800hours game play and now after this bank update, you can done it in 500hours. Everything is too fking easy, its like playing Rs Private server already. Hate it, FaGeX Crew is ruining it. Dungeroneering is hugh fail, only lags, bugs and sucks.

 

of course every game has them but since the majority of us bot and don't care
and the other half are kids whining 24/7 on the fourms it is just a matter of time before jagex will wreck it again like with the hp update un needed but they still made it like dung more like a mini game not a skill

they make updates to please the younger players but not the older players

fair enough if they do make it easy less time on bots and more time playing the game

 

I'm playing since 2003. And yes they make it easier because, with an easier game play, they get more little kids addicted to runescape = more money.
These updates are the reason why the most old players quit rs like zezima and and and..

 

Yes its easier, but its not just because of botting. They dont want people quiting because its to hard, time consuming, etc.

 

I remember when I could make 1M in a week in like '04, now I can make 7M in a week .. possibly more.

 

Yea, agree'd I remember when I could make a mil in about 4 days, several hours playing, now? 1m a hr yea its nice, but again 1m now a days isnt what it was worth before, =\ I remember I almost got a satan it was like 27m and I was at 20m =\ Not anymore "-.-

I think its just because Jagex knows that people enjoy the reward, and not the work it takes.

 

I dont care about Runescape one way or another, its simply there for me to profit off of.

 

It wouldn't be as rewarding if it hadn't been hard to obtain in the first place, though.

It's somewhat of a paradox, I'd say.

 

They make more money off of us this way though. Some 99's take up to 300 hours which makes the game play way more than 2000 hours. That's a lot of membership.
