Need help making defense range pure.

I want to put some defense in there so I don't have to constantly be eating while fighting. Can someone please tell me what I should get my defense level to?

Well, honestly I'd say it depends on F2P or P2P. But it doesn't really, 40 defense is decent on F2P, but in my opinion 70 > 40 defense in F2P. Either way, you should go for 99 defense, if you have low attach and strength, well try to keep it low, 60att/60str is good. Train defense as high as you can with melee, then range using the Range + Defense exp. Stop at 59 magic, (if your f2p) and keep going with range and defense only. Try to aim for both 70+.

 

70 defense 99 range owns. Eventually get 99 defense, 99 range, and 99 mage and be a maxed tank, .
