Jagex won't contact you by email. They'll contact you via your message centre on your account.

I would recommend changing all your accounts passwords now, just to be safe.

They don't use e-mail to contact you for stuff like that. Your account would just be banned with a message in your inbox..

    are people that stupid really??
you get an e-mail from them saying your account has been caught macroing, but you can still log into it... wouldn't you try to log in first before going through any trouble to try and appeal it?

phishers are getting better and better just like the bots. watch out for them.
Pins beat the phishers every time though (unless your pin is like 4444).

    Yes 100% scam
I have had 7 E-mails in the past 2 days from Jagex claiming i have ...
    . Macro offense
    . Real word trading offense
. My recovery questions need update
They have the sender address of '' noreply@jagex
Jagex never send me an E-mail in the past couple of years, yet all of a sudden they are sending in bulk. Good thing you had a bank pin.
Shame there are tons of people out there who don't and will loose everything :(

Yes, except what would a new player have that would be valuable to the phishers?
