Jagex Condone RWT'ing

Jagex is mainly owned by a American firm, so this type of thing is VERY expected, they only want money and thats that they are going to get :|

 

LMFAO, this so so like jagex, always looking for ways to make more money off stupid retarded things, why get 50 spins and win a lucky armadyl godsword or something when you could have bought it for way less of someone here.

 

So let's say out of the 10s of thousands of legit players. 100 of them buys a ton of spins, maybe 50 wins a divine. What happens? That's 50 less players that needs a divine, and if they have one, they sell it to the G.E. There are people that would spend a ton on something like this. And the odds that 1 out of every 500+ players pretty much sounds right. Extra spins from D&D, monsters etc. would brings in 10s of thousands, at least, of spins weekly.

So you're saying that an account with 10 hp and 99 summoning at level 15 sells for $3,000 or over 5B RSGP? There's such thing called bots, and there are bots that joins a FC with the account you want charms on, and the account with charms only loots all the charms shared to it. It's not as hard as you think.

Could you please direct me to a sale where someone paid over $3200 for a level 15 99 summoning? And if you mean staking with a maxed account, you could also lose a further thousands of dollars. If you're saying you'd stake with this account... Well, I could use a mithril minotaur and it would own you with 1 hit. Hence why summoning "tanks" are made for staking, they have decent hp or even def to survive a few low summ hits.

This can't April fools as they actually took the time to update the game and add the feature in.

 

I'm pretty sure there have been just two people that have achieved 99 summoning at combat 15, Giant Earth & Goat. Considering this is most likely the most unique achievement on RuneScape (there are more level 3's with 99 slayer than lvl 15's with 99 summoning, both being the lowest possible combat) I can see those accounts selling for $3200. Considering these are so unique I don't think they have ever been sold on Sythe so I it's pretty obvious that I can't link you.

Unfortunately you can't have two quotes in eachother but about the staking part - it was my last line and I clearly stated it was about my own summoning tank. If someone would "buy" 95 summoning buy spending loads on this Squeal of Fortune thing he could get the following stats pretty easily: 75 defence, 75 hitpoints, 95 summoning at 49 combat. You can probably trick some people into staking you pretty easily, eg. santa hat vs full bandos from lvl 100+ random main.

This would guarantee a 100% win ratio by using your iron titan with no armour stakes or a rune minotaur when using armour on stakes. Full bandos might seem like a low amount but there are enough people stupid enough to stake their banks because their opponent is such a low level.

This might seem unrealistic but I used to stake on my 1 pray staker and I could make pretty easy money by staking much higher levels. I plan to do the same on my summoning tank, if all goes well I will have 86 summoning within 2 months from now.

Buying spins could be helpful, i noticed that i do get a decent amount of xp lamps, and for sum tanks that is really helpful. but for the most part this is just them saying there not giving a fuck about rwt

 

Someone said if you get hacked the hacker could charge spins to your cc if you have it linked to your rs account..

 

I wonder if they will have a limit on the number of spins you can buy per month, that way they stop little kids from charging 500$ on just spins to mom and dad's credit card.

 

You could not be more wrong about selling prices of accounts.

It'll be a cold day in hell when somebod pays a fifth of what you suggest.

Also, not but maybe 10 people on sythe could sell the acc for a good price. Just because it's a good acc doesn't mean untrusted people could sell.

Fully maxed mains don't generally fetch much over a grand.. To say a 99 summ acc at 15 cb would fetch over 3x more than a fully maxed acc is just crazy.

Also.. Your plan with the whole summ staking thing probably wouldn't work.. Nobody stakes high in general anymore, and nobody really stakes summ tanks.. You wouldn't be able to find the stakes to make up for $3000 (if anybody would be dumb enough to pay that high).

 

These updates are just getting more and more desperate. If people want to spend their own cash on Squeal of Fortune spins though, then let them do that. I know that I won't be...

I agree with Video, all though it may seem stupid and greedy of Fagex, but this might be the reason RS doesn't die. But It's like stupid fucking hard to get any Super-rare items, yesterday, I landed one off from a zammy gs and ended up with 10k:/ Gf.

 

Buying membership does not lead to an item in RuneScape.

The flaw of this update isn't RWTing, it's the fact that with enough money, you can instantly be fully maxed.. =.=

This is very true. There is alot of outrage on the RSOF "Recent Game Updates" page right now about this very fact. If you have the CC linked to your Runescape account/SoF 'Buy Spins' button, a hacker who gains access to your account could purchase as many spins as he/she wanted and put you in major financial trouble.

Yes it would be theoretically "possible" to max out without training anything, but you would have to spend a stupid amount of money or wait a long, long time. The sof will not always land on a exp lamp.

This is just Jagex's method of taking advantage of people who like gambling.
