Jagex banning more Inferno cape buyers/sellers

This makes sense to me. I want to go for an infernal cape, and I think it's good that (at least for now) the only safe way is to do it yourself.

 

Windows RDC seems to be a lot less laggy than Teamviewer, so that seems like one option. You could also start playing on a VPN and then give the seller your VPN information to play on it as well. That is, assuming that Jagex only bans via IP and not click detection/etc.

Edit: Seems like Pink Clay offers both of those options. Would be great to hear from someone who has used his services.

I've seen many people who bought the cape like a month ago getting banned now. Also more people got banned for autoclicking knights, mage or nmz. I think they deem to more people overall atm, not just infernal cape sellers / buyers

Is there any reason the buyer cant just set up a VPN on their computer and the seller connect to that VPN?......

 

I think that is what lots' of sellers have been offering? I am not sure if it works/doesn't work, but I can look into it.

 

Somebody i know who bought one had his account banned for 2 weeks and infernal cape removed

It was only last month. He had it for approx a week before receiving the ban and cape being removed
