Jagex banning more Inferno cape buyers/sellers

Interesting, didn't know this was watched so particularly.

 

Do you know anyonet hat ACTUALLY got banned

 

How do they determine the runescape names of the people in-game? I don't understand how they can monitor this let alone ban people for something like this

 

If someone is willing to shell out the money for buying the cape in the first place may as well buy a plane ticket for the person to do it on their ip lol. It isn't worth risking an account that can do inferno + the gear, nor is it worth an ip ban from the seller.

 

Why not just teamview and do it on their own ip lol

 

Probably laggy and it needs to be near perfect I'm assuming

 

just doesn't seem wroth it, the cape has basically the same stats as fire cape, just maxes 1 hit higher with the str bonus. Not worth it in my opinion.

I actually have completed quite a few capes now, and none have gotten banned. I reckon that the sellers were either braindead and didn't try hiding their tracks, or my method of doing it was just too good. Either way, it is quite scuffed that you cannot buy one. It is quite hard

 

sad to see Jagex stooping to this level

 

Inferno capes have a big ban rate, because it is hard to get it.I guess people should start using vpn if they want to use ant services on the account

 

Probably best too avoid the purchase of one for now then.. it's easy pickings for Jagex to monitor at the moment. I don't see their issue with it tbh.

 

I'm not surprised by this. I'm an avid RuneScape player myself and I remember back when Emily got a 2 week ban after Zomoor threatened her to release a video if she didn't pay him. If 2 week bans are given to buyers for RWT then there must be some kind of punishment to buyers of infernal capes.

Well there is a guy doing inferno services on Sythe, so I dont think so.
