You can always use a Virtual Machine to run Windows-only bots like RiD (or Simba if you can't get WINE). Look here for a guide to set up and run a Virtual Machine:

I use epicbot on a mac and it works flawlessly. I also plan on running rid after the bot nuke via a product called virtual box. Its free but you have to buy a windows licensing key, which cost me around 110 usd.

 

Or just torrent a crack/use TinyXP etc lol...

 

Any bot that uses java to run will work well

Why not just use powerbot?
