Jad with polypore staff?

I'm 99 magic, 47 defense and only 81 range, would it be better to use magic or range for jad?

 

Range him.... or you could do blood blitz and range.

 

I did jad with polypore. I think it would have worked better if I knew what I was doing, nonetheless I still got the kill.

 

Can I get a straight up answer please?

 

Jad is week to everything,
and since your mage is higher you'll hit higher.
So use polypore and blood blitz or barrage for extra hp if you need it

 

Polypore definitely.
Also bring some blood blitz incase you need healing, this will be especially useful if you are new.
Its practically the same approach to doing fight caves and jad with a Polypore instead too.

 

polypore for sure, i got it first time with poly, hits really high and you can heal with blood barrage/blitz

It was an effective and accurate way of attacking Jad. So yes, a Polypore staff would be good.

 

I did jad on my hybrid at around level 70 with little problem, jad is very weak to magic it seems(though like others have said he has little defence just high hp) so yes at 99 magic you would wreck him ^^

When my pure was 99 range and 89 Mage I did both and poly was best
