    Anyway to remove JAG? everything I read is old and never gives a straight answer. some say yes some say no some say they did it and I keep seeing a thread link to an old RS forum ppl had success removing them but its gone now. has anyone recently successfully removed and deleted their jag?

    what I was thinking was maybe a VPN and recover the account from it so it looks like the account has been hacked the whole time then email asking jagex to remove. think this would work? cuz they remove them when a hijacker sets em but I cant prove it because the q's and a's where the same as my recoveries. plus like ip and shit. I tried emailing them asking saying I got hacked but they just sent one back saying no you set them basically.

    You can't make changes once they've been set and as far as I know you can't get them removed unless you remember them, which sucks because I've forgotten one of my questions and it ALWAYS pops up every time I try and remove my jag lol.

    you can, you can email them this form;
    -------------------------------------------------------------
    [IMG]

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

    Not going to provide emails because i don't want to get accused for phishing, but it can be found in the account help section of rs. they use these forms for when accounts get hacked and the hacker changes the email, and thus they have to contact jagex to make a recovery.

    Last time i checked, if you forget the questions what happen is;
    - They lock your account with jag/email removed
    - You'll have to manually recover the account

    if it gets accepted, the email is set on the one you provide in the recovery link and jag will be disabled

    You can email jagex at [email protected] they'll reply with subject/form to fill, send them another mail with proper subject and form and you'll eventually get your JAG removed

    just have a go, and say you're concerned that someone else knows your recovery questions as you found a malicious program on your computer during the last scan, and have since removed it and want to have JAG re-added with different questions, and its better safe than sorry, or provide new JAG answers that you'd like set in the email you send, so they don't think you're trying to remove them to sell the account

    this is similar to what I said I put something along the lines as I was ratted and that I noticed somebody had gone threw some of my files, and that I had a copy of the email form filled out with all my account details etc so I reformatted but forgot to back up my shit and that I only knew 1 of the questions that I remembered. didn't work out they just gave me a hint on the answers ingoring the fact that somebody probably knows my information.

    what im gonna try now is get a vpn to a different country then recover it. now the original owner isn't from Canada but actually from said country, but jag was set in Canada so they should delete them perm, idn this Is just a hunch but while they say they can never be changed I doubt their gonna force you to have JAG questions on your account a hacker set, because in the case of an actual hacking if the guy who got hacked wanted to set jag on his account after he got hacked how would he if there was questions already on, and why would they disable it because that's just information about the account somebody has for a future hacking? I guess we will soon find out just waiting to load some cash on paypal to get a vpn.

    its not that I don't know my JAG answers I know them off by heart. its that I don't want jag on my account anymore not disabled plain deleted. im pissed off because I never read about it until after I set them and find out they aren't removable.

    contgrats, also i wouldn't use a vpn when trying to do recoverys for your own account because it increases the chance of it being accepted believe it or not.

    If you know the answers to the JAG questions, you can remove them. If you even get one wrong, they'll deny it. Good luck.

    so all you do pretty much is send an email with the answers and they will remove them?
