I haven't been "active" on runescape in like 2 years cause my main got banned and I'm F2P. But wow i usually check things once a month and what i found seriously made me roll on the flour and laugh my ass off.

That's insane for the wizzy (g)...but I remember it going up and up for some reason... And for runes, there have been some magic power updates but 42 per water yeesh.

i can slightly understand water ruens being so high cuz barrage pwns hard and just one barrage takes like 7 water runes. but as for the wizard hats(g) i remember some merch clan a while back were buying them like crazy, i guess the price never went back down when they sold em. doesn't make sence. but then again everything is crazy high, damn i bought bandos chest plate+tassets for only 30mil and now thats like 50mil. and whip used to be 1mil now 3.5mil and the freggin fury?!?! i bought mine when it was less then 2mil and now its getting higher then 8mil

 

Alot of items in Rs have skyrocketed in price.

 

So many people are manipulating the Grand Exchange. And this is freakin Jagex's way of controlling the market... It's working alright.... God, I remember when mystic red/black was like 700k total, gold was 400k, and white/blue was 200k. What the shit...

I remember merchanting Wizard (g) items on a level 3. I'd buy each piece for like 150k each, then sell them for ~200k. I made around 3M a day; I thought I was the shit haha. Now people buy them to try to look rich (fail). Get an animal mask or something. Oh, and with the water rune price, I kind of helped with that one. I was in a clan that merchanted them to 51gp.

Jagex and the trade limit fucked up Runescape. Thats why I quit.

It was more like 800k a couple weeks ago. It just rose because of the slayer update.
