My Journey to a 6 Pack!

Hello everyone! Obviously judging from my title I want a 6 pack. I'm gonna be short & to the point here so here it is:

Diet- My diet is pretty simple generally. In the morning I wake up & have a bowl of cereal, usually something healthy like cheerios. Along with a glass of water or orange juice. For lunch I have a special K meal bar along with some water. Same for dinner, I'll also have a meal bar. I also am drinking water periodically throughout the day.

Workout- For my workout I'll do 50 sit - ups, when I wake up, and before I go to bed. I have a 2 hour Soccer game every Sunday. I'm also going to the gym 3 times a week for about an hour. At the gym I do 30 minutes of walking/jogging and than 30 minutes of the machine thingys (lol). As well as playing basketball with my friends from time to time. Lastly, I have gym in school at LEAST 3 times a week.

Generally I'm just looking for motivation, suggestions, and how long it will take me to achieve my goal. Please note I'm young (14) and I'm currently 125 lbs. I'm also 5'4. Thanks everyone!

If you don't already have abs at 125lbs you're going to be bummed out when you don't have the aesthetics you want.

    1) Your diet needs to be more defined; not 'healthy foods!', because it doesn't matter if you eat 4,000 calories worth of the greenest vegetable you can find or 4,000 calories worth of crude oil - you will put on mass (in this case fat since you don't lift at all.) In retrospect, you need to lower your calories below maintenance and cut down. Everyone has abs theres just layers of fat over it.

    2) A bowl of cereal, a glass of orange juice and two special K bars? Abs are a muscle and will deteriorate if you don't give your body energy. (CALORIES)

    3) Your workout isn't exactly beneficial. Abs should be treated like every other muscle system in your body; high weight, 6-10 reps for 3-5 sets depending the volume of other exercises. High-rep 'toning' is a myth

You are 125lbs and you probably don't have any muscle at all to show off. I don't mean to be rude but I think your goals are backwards, if anything you should be looking to put on mass.

    It's the difference between

The first picture - the kid has no muscle at all and is the route you'll likely be seeing. The second looks like he just finished a bulk & cut season and is much better looking.

Girls like scrawny kids with abs, women like muscular men.

My Journey to a 6 Pack!

Gosh, I've seen so many lately that want to exercise, that I'm thinking of making a guide for getting 6 pack, with pictures of myself doing exercises, etc.

    Would that work?

Of course that would help! That'd be a lot of work though, I only need advice ;)

EDIT: Moral, you didn't exactly contribute at all expect by saying to eat more... If you really want to help give me specifics, or a website link to somewhere where I can calculate things and make a plan.

I suggest you re-read and re-evaluate my post if you think I didn't contribute anything.

If you don't already have abs at such a low weight and likely low BF, you don't have much ab to show. Which I why I suggested you shouldn't be cutting, but bulking so you actually have some muscle to show off.

If you're dead-set at an unhealthy weight with no muscle it's really simple: Eat less, move more. You only have fat to burn at this point.

I think his post was clearly outlining the facts. At your current weight, it wouldn't work out to well on the diet you plan on setting yourself. You don't want to be a wooden flat board with a six pack.

Best of luck, his advice was in your interests.
