Slapaho3 - Fraudulent steam gift

Briefly explain the trade: Bought CS package for $15 via PayPal
How they scammed: Possibly used stolen credit card
Proof that you were not talking to an impostor: vouched + recieved the games but no chat logs.

I sent via a gift through my credit card, can I get this money back in anyway? (never dealt with a paypal purchase).

 

Can you prove that slapaho3 asked you to send money to that PayPal address, and that the Counter-Strike: Complete was in fact the game you purchased from him?

As for your money - it is possible you may be able to dispute the payment if you call PayPal. If you sent it as a gift though you may have a very difficult time getting it back.

 

That info was part of chat logs that are now extinct.
However 3 other members have the same issue and it maybe possible to use their evidence.

Did you guys exchange vouches? It might be enough proof if he specifically vouched that he sold you Counter-Strike:Complete and the date matches the payment.

 

Well I dealt with him less than 24 hours ago and I vouched for him but didn't get the same. Regardless I will be contacting my bank later.

I've PM'd Zalotnik as he said he has lots of evidence, and I am hoping he can fill in the few holes in your report.

All I need now is a match, and proof of him asking to have money sent to the PayPal address in the picture. Hopefully when Zalotnik gets back to me again we will have what we need.
