Ive been scammed can I get my money back?

Hi,

I purchased some Habbo Gold Bars on eBay. (Stupid me)

The seller hasn't delivered them and I messaged them and he has said they have already been delivered and he has recorded it so he is obviously on a private server recording....?

Where do I stand in a eBay case, has someone been in the situation before?

Tough spot, eBay usually protects the buyer if they are virtual goods. However what you said about private servers can be true. Try to call your credit card company attached to your paypal and explain what happened. If your paypal doesn't have a credit card and you paid with direct Paypal balance then just create a dispute and hope for the best. Good luck

Contacting paypal by phone is the best thing to do, if you just do support or e-mail is a bit harder, so call them and explain with a lot of detail and most probably you will win.

Wow if that's so @theServer statement... Surly you'll be allowed to get your money back but can you prove you didn't get it ? If so how.

You were scammed.

 

You shouldn't have a problem if you call your credit card company and explain it to them.

Call up PayPal/Ebay and explain the situation, try and include proof that the item wasn't delivered if you can also.
