Wow

Wow, some people are gay. I was buying membership this morning and this guy said he would go first. So, I let him have username and password. I was logged in knowing he was probably going to log on and steal the gp. He changed the pass and he said he'd finished so I just tried to change the pass and big surprise it was changed. So, I sent in recovery and I just started to bot air runes so he couldn't log in. I come back an hour later to see he's dced and I'm like fml his bank is going to be gone. So, the recovery worked and I was back in and I see that he's taken 20m gp but not only that instead of making it members and transfering the ags, bandos he just drops it.... I didn't have a bank pin on that account because I didn't think I needed it I never get key logged or phished. Now I only have about 5m on my other accounts since I lost 500m+ in duel arena. I'm more pissed off about letting this faggot steal 100m then losing over 500m in duel arena. /rant

Don't worry, most of us have probably been scammed in the past. That's what gives us the necessary experience to use it in the future though.
I remember when I first got scammed here, it was through teamviewer. So I stopped using it altogether.

Tl;dr Getting scammed makes us more aware.

It happens to everyone, I would just rebuild.

 

Get upgrades from trusted people. Tell them to go first or 50/50 and apply it yourself

Everyone has been burned at one point or another, unfortunately. I legitimately pay for my membership now, though, because I consider upgrade sellers high-risk for mass RWT bans and as you stated there is a large number of scammers/time wasters among them. Tons of people constantly trading them 10m = highly suspicious.
