My account was hacked into, then used to scam

Unfortunately, someone gained access to my username and password, and then use these details to buy and sell runescape 07 gold.

I do not blame Bistroz for the cause of my ban, he only did what any person who was scammed would do. Instead, I think attention should be drawn to the fact that he lacked any significant proof indicating that it was "me."

The only proof he provides is a mere screenshot of a skype conversation, in which he asks "Matthew Saleiman" if he is Freaking09 on Sythe. Bistroz does not ask for a PM, rather trusts "Matthew" when he just says "yes."

The only other screenshots that were used against my banning were Skype chats and a screenshot of an email that "Matthew" used to send his payment. That email is [email protected]. Bistroz also lacked proof that this is my email. Not once in the sketchy Skype screenshot did "Matthew" indicate that this was indeed his paypal email. The moderator that banned me, RsProd, indeed noticed that Bistroz's evidence was inefficient. Rather than ask for more evidence, he simply banned me, on the basis that the times between the skype chat and the paypal payment were the same.

If the sketchyness of this ban is not enough to unban me, then I would ask any moderator to check the IP log of my account prior to March when this took place.

The email, [email protected], does not belong to me.
The paypal account related to it also does not belong to me.
"Matthew Saleiman" is not my name on Skype.
Yes, my account was compromised and used to scam.
No, I was not aware of this when it happened. I logged in to find my account banned. I received all of the information from a couple of google searches.

 

Well it definitely looks like this account was accessed from a place that was different from your registration location prior to the ban.
