Middleman banned in middle of 'Skilling Trade'

I looked around the forums and couldn't find a clear answer so I decided to ask this here.

Let's say if someone payed 30mil for 200k dungeoneering tokens. The buyer of the skilling asks a middleman to hold the money with the skiller agreeing to the middleman. What would happen with the trade if the middleman gets banned in the middle of the skilling? An answer like trusting an extremly trusted middleman would seem plausible, but we have seen things appear we have never expected to happened before.

Would it just end up with the skiller getting the short end of the stick returning the account he trained it till the middleman getting banned?

Any opinions or rulings would be appreciated.

I would assume the trade is either put on hold and both people lose out until the middleman is unbanned or they hand it over to another middleman to complete the trade.

The MM would have the 30M though.
I'd say they split losses, I.E. the skiller completes the order, but receives another 15M from buyer. (Or something similar)

Still not fair to the buyer so wouldn't happen.

Chances are MM would scam the gold if he was already banned.

something similar happened to me and IFH last week, he was on the middle of my fire cape when we found out punk had a self requested ban.

I told him we'd split the losses, as that would be the most fair to both of us.
would have been 100M each (cape was 200M, I'd pay ifh 100M of my own)

Interesting way to split the losses, still would like to see my question responded with a possible ruling.

I think it should be up to the buyer to decide if he wants to pay for what he has received or not. Its not really fair to the buyer to not only lose his 30mil, but then have to pay the skiller as well.

I would also like to hope that either the skiller would have the courtesy to accept what happened and move on if the buyer was not able to pay for what the skiller had done.

Edit: This is probably one of those things that will be decided on a case by case basis.
