Cannoning Range

Hey guys,

Was just wondering what your thoughts were on training Range with a cannon?
(On a pure)

Do you really become inefficient with such low HP?
Is it expensive for what it is?
Do you actually save many Combat levels in the process?

It is definetly expensive but its also a lot faster, you do lose out on some hp but it didn't really bug me too much its actually kinda cool cos you have more damage than most of the ppl you fighting.

 

do it, you'll lose HP but chinning/BP will make up for it later

I did cannoning range for my main from like 50-75 ranged, then just went to NMZ/void/BP after

 

Yeah I'm doing it on my pure, gunna get 75 then get 50 attack and 75 strength just to be a prod for a bit, I'm sure when I profess to high 90s for strength and ranged it will make up for itself?

 

its expensive, but you can use blowpipe

 

can't use BP till 75 range, and cannoning isn't super pricey tbh
Once you get to like 75+ range just BP at NMZ to 85, then chin to 99. Best way to go imo

13+ prayer pure is failed.

im lv 63 with 90 range 71 hp and 84 str 2.2k bh kills all cannoned its worth the no hp xp by far

 

So you would recommend not getting pray up and sticking to low Hp?

 

yes by far, you get the hp xp from killing in bh

trust me just cannon it, it's easily twice as fast

i just did the highest range gear i could get, iron knives + cannon to 75

 

how long did that take?

 

Cannoning range is a great route for low cb, but if you plan on pking in the long run than you need to take into account your budget.
