Itrader to reduce scamming and vouch system!

Itrader can and will reduce scamming. I think that this could solve many of sythe's problems and offer a way to prove you have done a trade. Here is the vB.org link http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=102965

 

Excellent idea! I have this on my own vBulletin site and none of my members got scammed nor hacked in 2 months of my site being up! As much as I love this idea, it's some what not the best idea for Sythe.Org because lots of people have many vouches some over 50 and they're not going to contact everyone to vouch for them through the iTrader and so on, =/.

I have it too, but i think that sythe could eventually lead into this... leave it the way it is but just have a new way available. I think any new way is going to run into a problem like this. I still think this is much better than the way we have now.

 

I can't agree with you anymore but this is a pretty bad and late time to point it out. I highly doubt that the staff will take this into consideration seeing as Sythe.Org has like 112,00 Members they wouldn't want to cause a masacure with everyone vouching for each other through the iTrader system.

P.S. - Less then half the registered members on Sythe.Org are active but, it's still a higher amount then Fagex.Net and other popular site, =)!

 

this is a really good idea and it will reduce scamming be alot!

 

I suppose it could add to overall safeness but it really isn't Sythe's style. It could also lead to a surplus of lies to get someone in trouble or to deter trades from them.

good idea. except ban evaders might use this to save their account... and theres alot of people on sythe

 

RSF implemented this, and it worked out quite well. However, given the...differences...between the RSF and Sythe userbases, I do not think it should be implemented.

For all of you who said this would get alot of abuse.... Doesn't the current "system" get abused quite a bit

As death.by.pie said, the current system already gets abused. At least this new system will give the mods more control over preventing the abuse. We have to try something new eventually, so why not this?

Any system will get abused, just look at the vouch shit. Atleast this way it's harder to abuse...
