Item duplicator codename: UNITE!

If your wondering how item duplicators work read this:
People download artmoney to trick people how rich they are or edit some odd value for comedy. What autorune was different. Artmoney and TSearch are what you call memory editors. They edit cirtain values of anything. But autorune sent server pings with information to an exchange of nothing for somthing. I wanted to make a java based item duplicator. This is how i'd do it.


Most 'stat editors' and 'item duplicators' are really just virus infested memory editors. With this device it will send the same request as buy 1 from a general store. When an exchange is made it looks like this:

Buy: Item requested: 000 item given 001 item price: 777
Sell: item Sold: 976 price received:789

If we can make an applet that edits that and sends the same command for a different price. An item duplicator will be made. I've developed the idea. Private server programers: UNITE!

Just in case you're wondering, this is sure to have been tried before. Even if by some minute chance it did indeed work, the exploit would probably be patched WITHIN THE WEEK, if not the DAY it was used.

My advice, simple as it may be, is to forget it. RuneScape is dead, and this idea is simply an attempt bound to fail.

 

Im gonna use it for construction. Anyways. i think it is that simple. Im basing it on the buy option in a general store. If i capture the java command and use it as a player input device, then the server will *think* im buying a _____ for _____. And yes it will fail, why am i trying it you ask? I'm trying to build something that programmers just fake for kicks. EVERYTHING is hackable. It just takes smarts, time, and hard work. Thats all. Just like private servers. Precisely. The RuneScape client is locked up tight, and from my knowledge such has been tried before. Sure it's hackable, but you're not thinking outside the box.

Oh wells. Oh and why couldnt i set it up with a background proxy to the server's ip. This way the server will think it will be the general store who's buying it. Using it on a noob with another proxy wouldnt hurt. Would it.

 

No, the way the dupe worked was when in a trade screen it would put up a non-stackable item with an amount of zero, where it would normally be one. This would trick your side into thinking I put up nothing, and the other into thinking you put up one. So really, it's not duping because you didn't need one to start with. It's more like "Creation." It also used an item ID.

Your idea has been tried before, also many variants of your idea, almost every possible way has been exhausted. You are trying to recreate an AutoRune scenario, which is not going to happen, they made sure of that some years ago, think outside the box...

 

Whatever you edit will only be visible to you, not anyone else.
