Find a hobby, take some introductory classes in something that interests you, volunteer locally... Find something that keeps you away from your friends but opens up opportunities to make new ones.

 

I'm 18 not 10.

Only hobby's that ever interested me where adrenaline related. They also cost allot to keep up and I don't have that type of money to throw at it at the moment.

 

Can't you meet new friends in the gym? try to find someone who also applied to join the army and talk about it, learn more about the army and make sure that's what you really want. What you need right now is friends, people to hang out with and have fun.

 

Best suggestion so far, if I'm honest the only person I have spoken to since I went there was my trainer, I'll speak to another around my age ground and post how it goes. Also I'm certain the army path is for me, every aspect of the job appeals to me and I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

 

Well, lets start by you answering a few questions for me. What is your degree in, and what geographical area do you live (state)?

 

I'm from England, I have two higher education qualifications. One is BTEC level 3 national, in applied sciences. The other is BTEC level 5 higher in applied sciences, the level 5 is higher than A level's however a lessor qualification than a degree. I'm qualified to work in:
Chemistry.
Biochemistry.
Microbiology.
Physiology, and statistical analysis. However I have no intention of following this as a career path nor following it onto further education (Which would be degree level).
I live in Cambridge in England, no threat of eviction. I still live with my parents and do not have to pay rent.

 

i agree, do something that interests you, whether it's collecting something or an activity/sport, have some fun doing something you like
