I heard about this not too long ago. Might want to make the warning in a more public area, but regardless, thank you.

It's crazy how something like this can happen. Makes people extremely vulnerable, especially as it's not a well-known thing. I think an announcement should be made regarding the issue.

The popup is set up by the person who owns the teamspeak server and it redirects you to a virus.

 

Yep, the edit they sound pack and embed a RAT/Virus and then generate that message upon client connection.

Wow. I can't believe TS has this sort of vulnerability, I have always been generally impressed with their software/service.

 

I first read this as though it shouldn't be too dangerous without executing. However, seeing that it can be executed as a sound in teamspeak makes it very easy to infect someone.

Huh maybe the guy claiming he lost his account I sold him this way was telling the truth. Crazy.
