You should never put items on 1gp. If you want to sell things quickly, which is why I'm assuming you do what you do, put them on -5%. If that doesn't work, -10%. That should get the job done, and without it being worthless. Plus, if you're selling items instantly for basically no gain, then what's the point in selling them quickly? It'd be better to wait it out, if anything.

My friend sold his dclaws for 1 gp a few weeks ago. He just put em in for 1 and they actually sold for that much. :'(

I know ur feels man. One time I put in my purple partyhat set for 1 gp and it sold and I only got 1 gp ): /s

 

Phats can not sell for 1gp because it always gives you the highest offer for the item (It only works with cheaper items), I tried it myself in 2012 and you will only lose about 10 - 100M if you put it in for 1gp

 

And sometimes there are no serious buy offers in ge, and you lose a couple hundred mill. I saw a screenie of a phat being bought for a little over 100m once, when all of them were 1b+

I once recall someone here, buying an adamant scimitar for 10m back in the good old days of pre eoc era.

 

Once I found a purple on the floor and when I tried to sell it, it wouldn't sell for 10% under, so I'm pretty sure you can have a time with no legit offers on purp, so it could sell for 1gp.
