    Help With Private Severs

A private server is free, but usually you can donate to them and get certain powers on your character (its lame, really). All you have to have is WoW installed, which you can install for free off the world of warcraft site.

Then to get into the server, you need the private servers server address such as retail WoW's is "us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com" and all you have to do is change that to the private servers. Usually they post theirs on the main page of the website, if not you just have to search a little and you'll find it.

The spot to change this is in your WoW folder in the WTF file called "realmlist".

Save it with your new information, and you're done.

Sorry if this message seems messy and confusing, I wrote it pretty quickly.

    Help With Private Severs

Basically, you have to enter a certain script that allows you, if you are on the right patch, to play on a certain server connected with the internet. For instance, let's say Sythe had a private server. Their realmlist would be like logon.sythe.org, while, the WoW retail is like connected to is more complex and etc... I dunno cuz I haven't seen the realmlist in a while.
