Is this the richest player in RS history?

Surely, Jagex could track it anyway, or at least they'd have a rough idea regardless. I can imagine that account would be watched and flagged.

 

To be honest, if he did manage to sell even 50% of it, GP prices would crash significantly.

Honestly surprised to see those claims about what he did. He used to hang around my homeworld a lot, and he always seemed like a genuinely nice guy. Most people in the merch scene knew about him since he had a tendency to randomly show off a stack of crackers to random noobs. Stuff like that tends to draw a crowd, and then word gets out.

 

Roughly what year(s) was he known in the merching community? I've had good friends who were very involved in the merching community for a few years now. Surprised I've never heard of this guy until now O.O

 

He pretty much has like 3 college educations in his bank lol

 

So apparently this is "Majority" of his overall wealth on his main + 2 main alts (Looked up his clan, he has like 7-8 alts in there so assuming these are the main ones)

I really, really want to believe it's fake but everything I've looked up I've found legitimate sources for his whole "story" lmfao. At worst, he has 4T which is still mind blowing. I mean, I get 1T I originally thought he had but this is 4x that.

One interesting journey this guy had. What a disappointing ending though.

 

Interestingly enough, He has approx 4x the bank value in Pure essences & Coal (max stack of each) that he has in Partyhat + Crackers wealth.

The interesting part of that is, If he were to sell his coal and his pure essence, and buy out 90% of the market on Partyhats, Santa hats, H'ween masks, and Christmas crackers from bank mules so the market didn't know it was him, he would be able to not only own most of the partyhats in existance, but it would skyrocket the price of partyhats, which he already has a ton of, which would probably triple his bank alone just in rares.

 

This is absurd. It really puts into perspective even how rich I thought I was, even considering the amount I sold.

Considering how small the player base is now, he could singlehandedly influence the entire game's market on things other than rares (think about the purchasing power of merch clans back in 2008).

 

Good thing he wants to hoard it for himself then.

I wonder how Jagex feels about certain players being that influential with regards to the games economy. They would seriously have to consider stepping in if he were to start fiddling. Albeit I doubt he'd risk his wealth considering the time it must've taken him to acquire it.

 

Manipulating the market from just buying items isnt against the rules. He could do it without using the games population. Jagex hated the cheesy018's of the world because they used kids banks to become rich.

 

They actually did make market manipulation and merch clans against the rules on 07 when they released the GE.

Tried searching about him, I could only see he is an active rs3 player with like 1.7B xp/Comped but I think he just donated his bank to get the #1 spot? Probs pvms/merchs or something can't find anything on him lol.

It's less an official ruling and more the fact that I feel that Jagex will want to keep the balance in their game.

 

That's a crazy amount for someone to hold. Without falling for the temptation of selling it. Scary how much he could change the RWT economy as well as the in game economy with his wealth.

 

His QC saying he has 1.4 Trill........lol. That is some serious IRL bank.
