What is prestige in dungeoneering?

Can someone please explain this to me. I don't understand.

On my dung interface thing it says that my current progress is 28 but the max floor I can currently go on is 33. Should I be doing 28 or just do 33?

And when should I be resetting my prestige? What exactly does that mean also. If I was to reset my prestige would I have to start from floor one again?

Yes but you get more xp doing so when you reset it. You get more bonus xp when you do a floor you haven't done on that particular prestige run. It's a good idea to go all the way to the max floors you can do w/o repeating any, then reset and repeat.

 

prestige is the xp you get for doing the floor your first time. then u can reset and get prestige xp all over again

 

Always max out your prestige before resetting.

It is best to do all the floors then reset.

 

What do you mean max out the floors? Should I be going to the highest possible floor and then reset? I don't really understand when to reset.

 

Lets say you have 9 Dung. which i believe the max floor is 4 (doesnt matter just an example) You just finish floor 4, you don't have enough levels to do floor 5, this is where you would reset your prestige and start over on floor 1.
