Is this right?

Hey guys, just a quick question and discussion point.
I was away camping this weekend with my scout group (laugh if you want, I don't care). My phone went off while we were setting up the tents and it got confiscated when I answered it, despite the fact I just said 'ring back later please' and turned it off. They said I would get it back at the end of the weekend. My mates phone also got confiscated and just before we went home the adults in charge turned both of the phones on and read out all of our texts and laughed at some of them. There were two pictures on my phone of this girl who wanted to go out with me and had kept sending me pictures of herself. She is totally fugly/munted/skanky and I'm not going out with her, but they decided to show everyone the picture and tell them that the pictures were my of my girlfriend. Are they allowed to do that, considering that they were responsible for our safety and well being and were 'responsible adults'? Is there any sort of legislation against this, or were my rights breached of something? This is an opinion/knowledge thing, not a direct question.

If you can get a lawsuit then good luck in court. If you can't get those assholes back, but do it legally.

PLEASE do something about it. I hate when people think they can do this shit and then kids let it go. Tell your parents.. and if you're afraid to then grow a pair and just do it. Nothing bad can happen to you.

True, it is comedy but not for me when I am getting abuse thrown at me by adults who are in charge of my safety and well being as well as other kids.

 

You can sue those fucks. Just make sure you don't do anything bad back to them or they can counter-sue you, so as long as you have eye witnesses you can get a good amount of money.

Looking through a person's texts even if they are the student is the same as me coming to your house and taking your mail.
