A month back, I downgraded my White for personal reasons that needed to be done.
Now that I have the G.E. price to re-upgrade, I can't match the Street Price.

So, I have a couple questions about Fats after Free Trade:

-Will PartyHats rise or fall in G.E. Price and/or Street Price after Free Trade?
(What would be their prices?)

-How much would it cost through Paypal to upgrade my Green + $ to a White, now?
[Would someone (Not you, personally) be willing to trade their White for a Green + Account swap throughout Sythe - *Worth a shot making the Thread?]

I'd really love to know if now would be a good time to Upgrade. ^_^

 

I too am wondering what will happen to Partyhat prices as a result of free trade. Either they go down or way up...I really haven't a clue which will occur.

 

I'd personally go for up. I reckon they will fly up for a while and then drop drastically in about 2 months. But i could be wrong.

I believe they will go up quite a lot. Their street price is a lot higher then their GE price atm, so I think that people will start selling them for the street price after the free trade update.

I'm not really into the PHat market so I'm not sure of the price. About the topic, if the account is good enough there might be someone willing to do that deal. Just post it and see if anyone wants to.

 

It's not even possible to trade it for street price though? 2B max trade..

 

Fact:
Partyhats will drop, and will become worthless again as in '08.

People say Partyhats will never drop, because they don't come in the game anymore. What about when every partyhat went for min, and purple was 60m? Hmm?

And all the old stakers are coming back.. Oh lord, thats a ton of hats coming in the game.
People only want them now because there are demand for them (they don't actually give a FUCK about the hat). They usually rise 4.5m a day, so why not make that easy gp. They have also been massively manipulated.

(e.g A random item is dropping heavily, little jimmy doesn't what that item. He says it sucks. But when it starts rising [no matter what the item is] little jimmy wants it. And when it starts dropping, he says it sucks again, and will sell it no matter what!)

THE REASON THEY HAVEN'T DROPPED DRASTICALLY YET IS BECAUSE PEOPLE KNOW THEY CAN STILL GET USD FOR THEM.

They will probably fall heavily in street price.

Think about this... What is the purpose of a phat with...

free trade - Shows wealth, maybe for staking but you can use gold.
ge restrictions - get rid of junk, make 5m every update, hoard, manipulate, MAKE MONEY, and show wealth.

Once free trade comes back, the prices will fall for these reasons...

Right now, say the street price of a phat is 1b... What that really means is phat + 400m junk = 1b. Although junk is recognized as "worthless" is does have a value. Once junk isn't generated by manipulation clans, there will be no need for bought out items (that aren't bought out anyway b/c free trade) to be used to off load crashing items.

People will then start to sell their phats, and, as we've seen with rares, a few start selling they all start selling.

My advice would be to sell your green for $+trade, and then buy some gold when ft comes and buy it back.

They will stabilize somewhere between their current street price and ge values. Higher phats will be worth a lot more than current ge values, while lowers will crash a lot more and won't be too much higher than current ge values. For example, I've heard that purple is selling for just cash+risings on the street now.

 

Proton has a great thread in RSOF that I think is a good logical hypothesis. Ill see if I can dig up the QFC.

 

you do know they where "worthless" because G.E came out correct? they became worthless only bcoz prices of partyhats suddenly rose to what they where selling for on the street, so everybody put theres into ge (makes sense)


many stakers have got banned since 07 or they have permanently quit, just bcoz staking comes back doesn't everybody who use to play will come back.
and phats rise 4.5m ONCE a week not everyday.

I believe the street price on all rare and expensive items will increase massively. Because everyone will be able to get money so much easier when free trade is released, on top of this people will transfer all the money they have on accounts they don't use to accounts they do use and etc. etc.

tl;dr: the price will definitely go up.
