INTERAC e-Transfer safe?

Ok, this is sort of one of those threads that I made before. Some guy is willing to pay me $160 + $100 for shipping to the UK. THROUGH EMAIL TRANSFER. If it's through email transfer, like INTERAC e-Transfer, then is it safe? I don't wanna get jipped for my phone, and I definitely don't want to get charged back.

I can't quite say. I have used it to buy pipes and bongs and shit online when i used to smoke. It seemed all right but iv never used it to sell something.

It could be safer then using paypal just because you're dealing directly through you're bank. And not some middle man service.

EDIT: I don't know how e tranfers work in detail i have no idea if you can dispute them or anything. I'm pretty sure if they tried then the bank would clear it up pretty fast. Unlike paypal.

 

Its only safe if the bank account isn't stolen.

If you're talking to someone from the UK, then you can rest assured that it is stolen, and steer clear.

I believe that Interac E-Transfers is available to only Canada right now..

 

I don't think he's from the UK, he claims that he/she will be sending it to the UK for their friend in the UK. The person is probably from Canada.

They're using free texting apps/websites to text me. Anyways, it's a scam, a real INTERAC e-Transfer email won't be sent to my spam inbox, but it did. And it has a "cash4u" at the end of the email. I'm not stupid, I won't fall for that bullshit.
