How much does it cost to start a private university?

I've been searching around for figures of funding required to start a private university, from land and buildings to all of the rest, but I've discovered that not a lot of Google searches would yield such results(the details of these conversations are no doubt saved for and only relevant to monetary elitists). Perhaps someone else has searched for such answers and are able to shed some knowledge on round-about expenses, though.

General is best, I suppose. I'd be enlightened to know so much as:

$100M-$300M (depending on size, etc)

which is far different from

$8B-$10B
