Zerker vs Barrows Pure

Hi guys!
In a bit of a pickle here and I'd really appreciate any insight you can offer. I am currently training a zerker pure (albeit in the early stages). I have done most quests (around 100 QP atm), defence and attacked quested perfectly (45 def 60 attack, potentially getting 75 long-term). I have void (melee and ranged).

BUT

I don't know whether I would want a barrows pure or the zerker. This is primarily for PKing purposes. Will be 75-99-45 long term if I choose a zerk. What's the current / future state of PKing in OSRS? Should I stay zerk (only 65 str, so very early days as I said), or shift to barrows pure?

Any help would be greatly appreciated in this dilemma of mine. :huh:

(I have made a maxed zerker before in main-game, obviously prior to EOC. It was good while it lasted, but EOC was the death of pures)

 

I'm a tad biased due to my memories of pking on my maxed zerk pre-eoc. It was some of the most fun memories I have of scape. I would definitely stick to berserker pure but like I said I'm a big fan of berserker pures.

 

I'm extremely biased, as I'll say Zerker.

Why?

It's just fun as a zerker, at 70 you're now a main and you'll be dharoking or running into 50M+ risks with full HP safes.

 

Yeah as I said, I maxed one in the live game pre-eoc, and that was really fun. But from what I've heard wildy is all but dead around levels 80-100, barrows pure would push me above that limbo.. I don't knowww

 

Definitely zerker is my favorite of the two. Once you get in barrows you're talking a lot more risk and typically more safers/mains. I would just max out as a zerker for now and if you get bored at that point maybe reconsider again.

 

Oppa! I came here looking for advice, and I'll be honest, I was hoping you'd all talk me into a barrows pure, but hey if I weren't going to listen there'd be no point posting at all. Zerker it is!
