Crappy Morning for Me

Woke up to having my bank cleared out (93 cmb, so only about 10mil.. but that was my entire character) the person tricked it out late last night.

Funny thing is, I only allow HIGHLY reputable users to get on my account, and my password has stayed the same. It is my fault that I did not change my password from my last service (but I know who you are.. and it's sad that you did this, but at the same time I have no proof)...

Sucks that such a highly regarded member thinks he can overpower a lower member on the totem pole.

FML, I feel like I don't even care about this character anymore. Time to suicide my mining at LRC to make up for it.

Your best of telling the public to be cautious of that person. You could at least do that and save other people from what happened to you.

 

Highly respected and trusted such as Plznate and Cosrob, or someone with like 50 vouches? I know neither of the two people I named did this, because they would have no need.

Can you please post the name of who did this so the community can be aware of this.

Ehh... You should just bot that 10m back, its few days you know And keep ur account secure..

 

I'm not in a position to spill anyone's name over something I'm not 100% sure of because it's simply not fair, however I'm pretty certain it was not a keylogger or someone hacking me as when I handover my account(s) I use randomly generated 8 key password (with capitals and numbers).

It was not Cosrob or Plznate. They had about 100 vouches with donation status.

I ALWAYS change my password, even if a staff member/extremely trusted person has just verified my account or something.

 

Hope ytou screen shoted last ip, sadly a valuable lesson learned.

Email Jagex and ask them for a list of IP addresses logged in with the account?

I don't want to jump into conclusions but why would a trusted member risk his Sythe account for 10m? It's almost impossible to transfer the cash anyways. He would be basically automatically banned if you caught his IP. If it was in fact a Sythe member, that really blows.

Suggestion: Bot it back.

 

Don't give up. Report the person who scammed you, further looking in to it could lead to something happening.
