Account with membership wont log on to a mems world?

This question is for my cousin but he was on recently today on a members world. He later lagged out into the lobby and when he tried to log on to a members world again it said that he needed to have a membership. He checked his subscription with jagex and it was active but he still could not get on a members world. Why is this and how can he fix it?

 

Has he tried changing worlds?
Has he checked a few hours to see if his subscription was really valid?

His membership probably was about to expired and did but it showed it hasn't because maybe it wasn't updated yet?

 

it was on a credit card so it was recurring

 

Never heard of a problem similar to this. Contact your Credit Card provider or check your monthly bills or ask for help in the RuneScape forums. You should get much more help there than here.
