Mauler Or 1 def pure?

I'm making a mauler ATM but i am thinking about getting 40 attack instead.
Is it worth it or should i just get 99 str?


Currently stats

1 att
89 str
1 def
78 hp
combat 49

40 attack would get me combat 61.

 

f2p ftw. get 99 str also.

 

I think you should get 99 str, have fun PKing with 1 attack and once you get bored move on because if you get attack you can't really go back.

f2p pure, get 40atk 99 str and some ranged and you are good to go!
